Nowadays, many people use to do charity work to help others that need assistance. I agree that it is still necessary because is a good experience to yourself.
First of all, people who have mental or physical problems and can not take care of themselves, and they need a person to help them in their day to day. I think that charity work help them to make their life easier and see them happy with their life.
However, there are people whose think that this kind of work is not paid and requires a lot of time. In my opinion, these people, which have this though, are selfish, because the price of this job is the personal satisfaction.
