"Charity work should not be needed today, people should look after themselves".
Charity would hadn’t to depend on anyone, since everyone would have to take care of himself. Charitable work is a solidarity action that would have to leave each person.
The state is the one that has to guarantee that each person has the necessary resources to be able to continue without depending on the society in general. When there is a situation of vulnerability or social exclusion in our society, there are thousands of NGOs that support and help in different ways to face these situations whose purpose is to improve the environment around us in some way.
In conclusion, each person wouldn’t only have to worry about himself but also have the will and the courage to help others in some way voluntarily.
